What’s in it for you?

Insanity greatly promotes that you’ll definitely decrease your body fat percentage. If done correctly and diligently, this workout can help you shape your muscles even before they grow bigger.

It’s because you’ll sweat like you never sweated before. INSANITY uses advanced cardio with max interval training to make sure all those calories will burn every time you do the workout.

However, even if this will lower your body fat by as much as 7, INSANITY will still add you some muscle mass too. When it comes to your muscles, it will give you those muscle definition too.

Eating correct protein, carbs and fats diet together with the workout you’ll definitely gain muscles over time. But, due to the time frame of the program, what you’ll notice is more on defining your muscles giving you that athletic ripped look.

You’ll see a huge change in your thighs, your quads will grow and will also remove all stubborn fat surrounding your thigh. Your chest will also get bigger and tighter because of this workout.

Is it for you?

An extreme workout should be done with caution and with advice from professionals. Even if this can be done at home, an intense workout can do more harm than good to your body if you’re still a beginner. This means that this program is not for everybody.

However, a lot of beginners will try to do these programs even though a lot of websites don’t recommend it. That’s why we’ll explain what you need to have to start the program.

First, you must have a healthy heart that can withstand even the basic cardio. INSANITY focuses on cardio which will make your heart pump real good in every session. Your heart should be able to handle all the pressure the cardio will give you on this program.

You must at least be able to do basic exercises. By basic we mean you can do at least 10 pushups, 10 crunches and can run almost a mile. If not, then we highly recommend trying some basic workouts first for a week or two before purchasing the program.

INSANITY is not a joint-friendly workout, to be honest. It’s high impacting and may hurt your joints if you have problems with it, to begin with. If you had injuries before, you need to consult a professional first before doing this workout to avoid any accidents.

Dedication is the key to completing this program. Even those who are not beginners will find it hard to complete the workout, but as long as you can do it on a regular basis then that will be a good start for you.

Still, this program is not recommended for beginners.

Can Insanity really ‘melt’ fat?

INSANITY is just High-Intensity Interval Training but it’s on a treadmill. Like Zumba but on steroids.

Of course, your mind and body will react to an intense workout, especially if you do it every day. Working hard at a high intensity for short periods of time followed by a period of low-intensity training or complete rest repeatedly can burn more fat compared to traditional cardio.

This means that Yes this workout program can melt or burn more fat rather than regular programs. INSANITY will provide you with great cardio and movements, that you’ll burn a lot of calories during the whole duration of the program.

However, this workout does not use any pieces of equipment and don’t increase in level after 60 days. After 60 days continuing on the same workout without adding resistance, will not improve.

Your body must be continually subjected to a range of stimuli to consistently improve. That’s why its a Yes and a No.

Yes, it can melt fat during the 60 days period, but after that, it will no longer contribute to burning your calories or improving your body.

Conclusion

Should you try it? We don’t see anything wrong with this workout and it seems great, but we want to emphasize one thing. Consult a professional first!

This is an advance set of workouts that you’ll do for 60 days and if you’re not already fit to do basic exercises then we don’t think you can withstand the full thing. Even those who are already doing advanced exercises will find it hard during the first week of the program.

The details of the exercises included in this program are great and effective. It’s full of cardio exercises and high endurance workout that you’ll follow every single day.

You can achieve a great body with this workout and will improve your health however, you should do it with caution. Again, this is not for beginners.

There’s a lot of great reviews with this program that shows great results and testimonies. But, you’ll also see testimonials about being injured due to the exercises and forced to stop due to health issues.

Basically, you need to be fit already to be able to harness all the benefits of this program. Yes, you should try the program, but make sure to finish the basics first.

And if you really want to try…

Consult your physician first if you can withstand all these exercises without the need to go to the emergency room and your fitness coach to make sure you’ll avoid any injuries with your body. Remember that.

See you at the next session!
